Managed the demolition and refurbishment of an existing floor within a faculty building to accommodate critical manufacturing equipment for research facilities specialising in laser welding, powder discharge manufacturing, and specialised Computerised Numerical Control (CNC) machinery.

The machinery component alone was valued at over $6 million and included highly specialised items such as ARC Welding Robots. The space required tailored services and dangerous goods provisions due to the explosive nature of the solid-state powders used in the process when exposed to moisture.

The project involved extensive engagement with user groups to understand the technical requirements of the researchers using the facility, along with the implementation of high physical and cyber security measures to safeguard the operations and equipment.
