Planning Proposal


Appointment and management of a large consultant team to lead feasibility/concept work for a Chatswood Station-adjacent masterplan consisting of approximately 30,000sqm commercial space within a signature building, 4,500sqm purpose-built medical suite building, circa 12,000sqm of retail, boutique commercial and community space, almost 400 apartments and over 2000sqm of open space. Level 6 has been engaged across the planning submission, feedback and consultation cycles, with our masterplan value-add including rigorous reviewing of optioneering against planning, design and place making principles, as well as cost and feasibility implications. 

Our scope

Level 6 appointed and managed a significant consultant team to lead the feasibility/concept work for the master plan.  This entailed a rigorous period of reviewing alternative concepts against planning, design and place making principles alongside cost and overarching feasibility implications. Key aspects of our scope included:

  • Master plan optioneering and economic feasibility testing.

  • Appointment and management of full consultant team, working to an aggressive 3 month program.

  • Management of PCG meetings, regular working meetings.

  • Preparation of the Planning Proposal, including management and coordination of strategic planning case and all consultants’ work.

  • Stakeholder consultation including engagement with Willoughby Council and the local business community.
