Macarthur Regional Centre
Management of a masterplan development consisting of four infrastructure stages, 272 dwellings over nine stages, and a large central park plus pedestrian bridge linking the site to the local train station, university, and amenities. Work on this Macarthur Regional Centre project has included: management of key stakeholders including transport authorities, including Campbelltown City Council, Transport NSW, Sydney Trains, and Landcom among others; management of the project as a joint venture between Stockland and Landcom, including participating in JV meetings with formal reporting, management of multi-disciplined design coordination between JV partners, review and advise on project construction staging and coordination with a detailed understanding of the many stages of work and delivery responsibilities distributed between JV partners; and more.
Our scope
Level 6’s management of this project has included:
Working in accordance with the Project Delivery Agreement (PDA).
Managing key stakeholders in this regard, including Campbelltown City Council, Transport NSW, Sydney Trains, and Landcom among others.
Participation in formal JV Management Committee Meetings and provision of formal Committee reporting.
Management of EOI/sale campaign for parts of the site on behalf of the JV.
Management of multi-disciplined design coordination between JV partners.
Production of various business case and formal approval documents as required by Stockland’s processes/procedures and Senior Management requirements.
Development of Vision and Design Brief.
Management of consultant appointments, project budget and administration.
Development and management of project design and delivery program.
Review and advise on project construction staging and coordination – particularly onerous given the many stages of work and delivery responsibilities split between JV partner as well as required infrastructure upgrades triggered by the development.
Review of ecological issues, approval and management requirements and timescales, and key risks associated.
Review and management of contamination issues within one of the public park areas including strategies for remediation and negotiation with Council.
Liaison with government agencies as required to ascertain further project requirements and timing.
