Managed the refurbishment of an entire floor of an 80-year-old building at the University of Sydney to create a specialist chemistry laboratory for Professor Kondo Francois and his team.

The project addressed the university's shortage of wet laboratory spaces by delivering state-of-the-art research facilities, contributing to the replacement of outdated labs housed in heritage buildings.

The refurbishment balanced modern laboratory requirements with the building's character, achieving compliance with BCA standards. Coordination with Lendlease as Managing Contractor ensured the alignment of design, equipment, and operations.

The lab fitout was part of a larger adaptive re-use refurbishment of the building, requiring close consultation with the lead project team to ensure seamless integration with the overall program.
