The Project

Various capital works projects across multiple AMP Capital shopping centres both in NSW and interstate.  The projects have included:

  • New and upgraded facades and entries
  • Carparks upgrades projects
  • New foodcourts and amenities
  • Base build services upgrades
  • Base build works/recurves required to suit incoming tenants
  • New Development project office and centre management office upgrades
  • External works
  • Signage and wayfinding


This work required full project management services including:

  • Preparation of Business Case and formal reporting in line with AMP’s corporate requirements
  • Development of Project Brief/Stakeholder Engagement Framework
  • Regular PCG and progress reporting
  • Establishment of communications plan with regular project and design team meetings
  • Procurement/appointment of consultant team, management of consultant budget and administration of agreements/invoices etc
  • Preparation and management of Statutory and services Authority approvals
  • Design Management – including optioneering and associated cost/benefit analyses with consideration
  • Coordination with relevant internal teams including Design and Leasing (head office), and Centre Management and Maintenance (centre based) to ensure all requirements are considered and met
  • Risk and opportunities management
  • Management of project program & budget
  • Analysis of impacts on existing assets/infrastructure
  • Design Development including value management
  • Coordination of Request for Tender documents for Construction
  • Review and analysis of contractor tender returns, participation in Contractor interviews
  • Input into construction contract, liaison with AMP’s internal capital works and legal teams to formalise/execute
  • Contract administration and management of the contractor through construction including handover and defects close out
